When we die, the first thing that is written on our tombstones would most probably be our names followed by two dates and a dash in between. The first date, marks the day we were born and the other would be the day we sighed our last breath.
But what about the dash? What purpose does that seemingly unimportant dash serve?
That, my dear friend, is the culmination of your ENTIRE life.
Everything you've ever done, every achievement, every success, every failure... TURNS INTO A DASH. We can't control the size of said dash and we most certainly cannot alter its style or type.
However, we can change the quality of the very thing that dash symbolises. We have been given the chance to make our lives worthwhile.
